Super Hero Kids is a creative arts- and skill-based therapeutic group for youth who have experienced domestic violence. Students will be divided into 3 age-appropriate groups and participate in a curriculum based on finding and strengthening the coping and emotional skills, or “super powers,” that our students need in order to overcome challenges and live creative, healthy lives.
Students will work on a week-long project exploring themes of self-esteem, self-management, and social awareness in order to discover the Super Hero within.
Our Super Heroes will also have the opportunity to participate in daily activities provided by Apple Ridge Farm’s beautiful 90 acre campus including hiking, swimming, nature exploration, sports, and games.
